Tail Rings, the concept, was started in 2016 by Dale Peterson. Several names for the site had been dreamt up, but after noticing the orange bands on the tail of Dale's cat, "Lynx," 'Tail Rings' sprang to mind and that was the name that stuck.
Tail Rings, the website, began in early 2023 with one goal; let the buyer know what they are buying before they buy it.
The majority of things you'll find on Tail Rings (the website, not the cat) will not only be worthy of your time and attention, but are personally tested by Dale. We want to ensure that every product meets a certain standard before making it available. Otherwise you may as well just roll the dice somewhere else. If you've ever experienced the frustration of buying something online, only to be left feeling completely disappointed due to the build quality, product lifespan, size, or just that the displayed color isn't even close to what was in the pictures -- then it's a good thing you're here. We want to fix that by providing you with more knowledge, more insight, and hopefully creating a little more confidence with your purchase.
Tail Rings isn't some mega-company that can offer everything under the sun. We just want to offer products that are what they say they are, and at the lowest prices possible.
As Tail Rings grows we will start to introduce branded products that are created at, or by, the Tail Rings egg-heads. Not something others have created and we simply slap our logo on and call it a day. We will create something that was born from the collective grapes sitting between our shoulders. We've already compiled a list of things to get started on, so as we take those next steps, you'll see exciting announcements appear in the TR News blog.
Be watching for the Unboxing videos. The majority of items listed on the site will have an unboxing video that will cover all the aspects of the product. We'll be totally transparent on the build quality, packaging, look, feel, and everything in between. There will be a standard each product must live up to. If that product is shabby, has poor build quality, or just isn't how it was described to us, then that's where it stops and it will never be listed on Tail Rings.
So, now that you know a little about us, We invite you to go on a treasure hunt through Tail Rings. Even if you don't buy something, we would appreciate your referral to friends and family. What they need may very well be on this site.
Thank you again for stopping by Tail Rings. We hope to "see" you back here often!
